Lifelong Learners GTX, located in Georgetown, Texas, is a non-profit membership organization for adults of all ages, dedicated to the proposition that:
Lifelong learning is an essential component of a life of satisfaction and fulfillment.
Lifelong Learners GTX is committed to providing a variety of continuing education opportunities for its members to help keep minds active, learn new things and meet new people.
In-person classes meet in various venues around town. Zoom and On-Demand classes meet wherever you happen to be.
“LLGTX” has relied on engaged volunteers throughout its history, from Board members to committee chairs to classroom assistants to office help. The administrative side is lean, with a part-time Executive Director and a part-time office assistant.
Income is largely from memberships and course/lecture registrations. We have received grants and many encouraging donations from our members who love LLGTX as a way to keep their minds sharp and their lives interesting.
Expenses are administrative salaries, classroom rentals, instructor honorariums, marketing and “the normal office stuff.” They are closely monitored by the Board of Directors.

The mission of Lifelong Learners GTX is to offer a diverse program of courses, lectures, travel activities, and other learning opportunities designed to provide intellectual stimulation, cultural experiences, and personal enjoyment.
