  1. Typically, we offer a 6-week term  in the winter and fall. Winter starts the 4th Monday in January; Fall starts the 4th Monday of September.  We also offer 10 lectures on different topics the first full week in June. Other events are scheduled as available.
  2. We typically post the next full terms’ courses or lectures 6-8 weeks before the beginning of the term. You can read about the courses and the presenters as you plan what you would like to attend.
  3. To do anything more than visit the site, you will need a username and password. You username cannot be changed once it is in the system. Your password may be changed as needed.
  4. In order to register for courses and some events you need to be a member. It costs $50.00 to join, good for one year. Some special presentations do not require membership, but active members are automatically included in email updates and notices.
  5. It is helpful to have a quick reference list both when you register online and when classes start. That’s what this summary is for. Print it and carry it with you the first couple weeks of classes.
  6. Online registration is straightforward IF you are an active member. If you see the list of classes but don’t see a little box where you can check the ones you want, it is almost always because your membership is not active. If you have questions about this, let us know. Once you have registered, you will get an automated message with a list of your classes. Use the quick reference sheet from #5 to check times, dates and venues.
  7.  To register by mail, print the summary sheet from #5 above, check the classes you want and mail the list to the address below along with a check for $95.00.

  9. We are privileged to have volunteer presenters with widely varied backgrounds. We are always looking for more presentations on a whole world of topics. If you’d like to present for an hour or a term, please let us know.
