Drawing with Sonia, 1st Sundays, 1pm-5pm
- February 2nd | Scribbles and Mass
Learn to loosen up your arm and mind as you scribble and build with line work that will strengthen your ability to translate what you see in the simplest of forms that have real presence and weight. (Bring any images that you would like to work from: portraits, landscapes, etc.) - March 2nd | Shapes and Edges
Learn to break up the things you see as shapes that overlap and connect to create a more complex form. Discuss the way light sources effect the value structure based on shapes and contours. Begin to see how these relationships we are beginning to explore, affect how we see and manipulate edges. - April 6th | Combo Class
Let’s put it all together! Let’s see how we can use what we’ve learned as the base structure for other projects, and let’s create a piece from start to finish.
