Join Hill Country Conservancy in celebrating National Public Lands Day with a day of planting at Pecan Springs Karst Preserve.  National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands bringing together volunteers to improve and enhance public lands across the country.  The need enthusiastic volunteers to help plant native grasses and trees along Pecan Springs.  This is your chance to make a tangible impact on our environment and have a great time doing it. Activities may include digging holes for native seedlings, caging young trees for protection, and watering newly planted areas.
