Artist of the Month: The Poppy Project
The Poppy Project is a community-based art initiative that invites people of all ages and skill levels to create and contribute poppy-inspired artwork for a special April exhibition at The Williamson Museum.
Poppies have long symbolized remembrance, resilience, and hope. Through this project, we’re exploring how those ideas connect to personal stories, shared history, and collective memory—told through art made by our community.
We’ll also host a special poppy-themed Millennial History Club on March 26, from 6 pm – 8 pm, blending crafting, reflection, and a little existential dread (as is tradition).
Art will be displayed April 1st – April 29th
