Lenora Doerfler works on the Agency Advancement team at Upbring as the Philanthropic Relations Manager. Prior to joining Upbring, Lenora worked for Texas Health Institute in marketing and development. Lenora lives in Georgetown with her husband, Jimmy. They have four children and six grandchildren. They attend Christ Lutheran Church of Georgetown where she has served on the Church Council and the Christ Lutheran Learning Center Board. Lenora also served as a City Council member for three terms in Weir, Texas and serves the Georgetown community on several boards, including The Caring Place, where she was Board President. Lenora also sits on the Board of Directors of the Lutheran Foundation of the Southwest. Lenora was nominated to participate in Leadership Texas and is a proud Leadership Texas graduate of the Class of 2015. Lenora was born in El Campo, Texas, and attended UT Arlington and UT Austin majoring in Communications. She came to Georgetown in 1976 to work at KGTN, Georgetown’s local radio station as a radio announcer and talk show host.
