3. Log in to lifelonglearnersgtx.com. You can wander freely through our site, but if you want to become a member or register for courses/lectures, you need to be a registered user of the site.
In the upper right-hand corner of our site, create an account with a username and password HERE. Log in and fill in your profile information. NOTE: If something changes (email address, address, phone number, etc) you can change it later. However, you cannot change your username! Choose wisely.
4. Join or renew your membership. Membership is $ 50.00 and is good for one year. It puts you in our database for announcements, updates, reminders and more. Once you are a member, you can register for courses, lectures and special opportunities as they come up. To get started, click HERE.
5. We keep some documents online so you can download/print them. One of the most useful is the Quick Reference Sheet for courses, as it includes titles, instructors, times, start dates and venues. You can also find:

6. How to register online.
NOTE: We try to post upcoming courses/lectures/presentations at least 6 weeks before they start. Winter Term begins the 4th Monday in January. Summer lectures are the first full week in June. Fall Term begins the 4th Monday in September.
NOTE: A few classes are limited in size. Go ahead and register for them even if they are full. You will be put on a wait list or we may be able to increase the capacity if we know there is more interest.
Log in to your account.
Verify that your membership is still active. If it is not, renew it first HERE.
Go to the registration page HERE. You should see a little box in each course description. Click in the box to choose it. If you don’t see a little box to select your course, it is most likely because your membership is not active.
Click Register at the bottom of the list. That will take you to the final page where you can enter your credit card information. Registration for winter and fall terms is $95.00 for all the courses you want to take. Summer lectures are $50.00.
You should then receive a confirmation notice that your have registered for your selected classes. To be sure, you can go back to the registration page and click on MY CLASSES at the top. You should see the ones you selected.
7. How to register by mail. Although we prefer online registrations, we can help those who are uncomfortable using their computers to register or are having problems with the site.
Print the course summary sheet HERE with your classes marked. Enclose a check for $ 95.00 to Lifelong Learners GTX. Mail it to POB 488, Georgetown, TX 78627.
8. Find our venues. Our courses, lectures and special presentations make use of different venues in Georgetown. If you want to see an address or map, you can do so HERE.
9. Become a presenter. Lifelong Learners GTX always welcomes new volunteer instructors and presenters. For 25 years, they have made us what we are and we could not exist without them. Some present 6-week courses in the winter and fall. Others present single lectures in June or in Potpourri classes in the winter or fall.
Our courses are neutral with respect to politics and religion. We also avoid advertising of services or products per se. If you have an idea for a course or presentation you’d like to present, let us know HERE.
