Cindy Diamond, PhD, RN, earned her doctorate in nursing from UT Austin and a master’s degree in psychiatric mental health (PMH) nursing from Wayne State University. She is a board-certified PMH nurse. Dr. Diamond has served as a clinical nurse specialist, providing care for individuals with serious mental illness, as well as the director of several psychiatric programs and a faculty member in PMH nursing. Though mostly retired, she continues to teach in the doctoral program at UT Arlington and in PMH nursing clinicals at Texas State University.
